Community Litter Pick

The unseasonal wet weather effected turnout but once the safety talk had been carried out the small group began. Heading toward Rhoslas and using the public footpaths to head towards the park. With the continuing heavy rain it was decided that the litter pick should be abandoned after an hour and a half and with four bags of litter collected from the area.

Councillor Whatley who had organised the litter pick for the Community Council commented that “he was disappointed with the turn out but due to the weather it was to be expected, however four bags worth of litter have been collected and he wanted to thank those who had taken part and hoped that further community litter picks would take place in the future”

The Community Council would also like to thank Carmarthenshire County Council refuse department for providing the equipment.
