The annual turning on of the lights on the Christmas tree by Towy Garage took place on Wednesday 21st November. A large crowd enjoyed listening to the school choir singing a medley of carols. The lights on the were turned on by Rhydian Edwards, chair of the school council, and the Christmas message was delivered by the Rev. Ceri Davies. The children and parents then followed Santa Claus over to the Babell to enjoy a cup of tea and a mince pie and of course Santa's Grotto.

A special thanks to Morrisons for providing the refreshments and the presents for the children.

CCTV cameras has now been replaced on Towy Roundabout


Councillor Sandra Thomas, Chair of Llangunnor Community Council presented a cheque to Liz Gilligan of Carmarthen Free Books. They were based in Llangunnor (known as Healthy Planet) but have relocated to Woods Row Carmarthen.


Dyfed Powys Police Open Day

The event will include displays from the Fire and Ambulance Services and other partners. There will be an opportunity for children and young people to see how the police service operates within the community as well as a circus workshop for them to enjoy
